You say it's got 4.56's and lockers front and rear...is that in the stock 10bolts?

350 or 305?

4 wheel disc brakes- you converting a 10bolt rear to disc?

How long has the lift been in it?

Please don't get your hopes up. God knows I've been wanting a K5 for a long, long time, and with this one being from Texas, it's probably pretty rust-free and would make a great one to start with. BUT....(you knew it was coming /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) I'm getting married at the end of this summer, and the wife's still got one semester of school left this fall. After that's all over with and she's working full time, that would be the opportune time to buy my K5. Not now. However, if the right deal came along...well, I guess I'm saying "you never know..."

Anyways, fill us in a little more. Does she run out good? Solid tranny/tcase? etc...

wish i wa sin TX just so could at least see things like this in existence and be reassured that they are.... postings like this reassure me that its fine to part out rusted out junk like i have been doing for years, some day ill get my hands on an "imported" cool and basically mint shape truck like either of these two you are selling /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
i once came across a beat and rusted out 72 k5 with black top, everything was broken though, was a missing 350 but intact 465 and 3.07 axles truck, drivetrain was great, body was tied together with rope, or what was left of it anyways, i sold the tranny and case combo for 75 bucks, thats the only one ive ever seen personally cept a 69-72 jimmy at a gas station a couple years ago, it was beat rusted too, but no as bad, but getting there, and i hve seen a couple 77-79 style k5's we parted an 80 2wd one bout five years ago., i saw two 77-79 in a junkyard above bloomington, they are probably still there, at least were last summer anyways, compelte, consoles and everything sunken into years of mud they are
