This may seem like a silly question, but how does the quick-loc work? With the lockouts unlocked, are the wheels free?

If I Told You That, Someone Else Would Get It. But no they only have 1 it is a dually chevy front, It started at 700$ so I could get it for 600$ cash in hand though, I hope.

It is just like the powertrax locker or detroit no spin, yes the wheels are free with the hubs unlocked. It ratchets when you turn the wheels if it unlocks, I have had no problems with operation the 2 times I used it. This one is new I broke an axle which broke a pin on it and 4WParts sent me a new one.

For installation, do the gears have to be reset?

No you just put everything back the way it came out, your not changing anything to do with the gears. It is simple to put in almost too easy. Takes longer to pull everything apart.

I installed the detroit in my ff14b rearend, so this thing would go in about the same way???

Alrighty, here's the deal. I may be buying another vehicle over the weekend, or at least I'll know more after the weekend is over. If I do buy that rig, and things work out a "certain way", I may buy this locker from you as well. God knows, I'd LOVE to have it, but I'm not going to call dibs on it. So if you sell it over the weekend, then it just wasn't meant to be mine I guess. But if you still have it the begining of next week, and this deal on buying another vehicle works out, I'll be very excited about getting back to you on Monday. Alright? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Thanks man!

That's cool. But if someone else hands ya the cash for it first, don't hold it for me cuz I don't wanna tie ya up that way.
Talk to ya about it next week then. Thanks!

Do the knuckles come with the backing plates and are they drilled for cross-over already?

They were not included but I have an extra set with bad dust shields I could include for free. Yes they are drilled and taped just no studs I used bolts.

Ryan,
I have a strong intrest in the Moser shafts, depending on what shape they are in. When will you hear about the replacement one...
PM me with the details and maybe I can confirm the purchase.

Do you have the crossover arm as well? If so, I might be interested in the knuckles. Maybe we can work something out on the knuckles, arm and maybe the locker if it isn't spoken for. I'm within driving distance, so shipping shouldn't be a problem.

The arm was barrowed so its not included, the 100$ is just the knuckles which just covers my cost on ball joints (4 months old)and the drill and tap. I will PM you my # and you can call me easier than typing. Ryan

Most of it is new rotors, bearings, seals, and locking hubs. Spindles and bearing hubs are a year old. Not sure on the weight but a buddy shipped 8 lug stuff out for 60$ if I remember right. I can meet you half way on shipping to give you a price break but I'm taking a good loss as it is but I do have a dana 60 now though becuase of this.

Interested in 1 set (left and right side) of the stock axle shafts. I haven't found my answer to if 1st design and 2nd design shafts are the same yet, so do you know which design axle they are from? Thanks.
backyardbuilt

Just confirmed they are both sold sorry. But as far as I know both designs are the same the difference is in the spindles hubs and bearings.
