Cops don't care about 4x4's out here for some reason, TJ let me take it for a spin and I saw a Police car going the other direction and he never even gave us a 2nd look. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Man I love Colorado.

Looks like he eliminated the core support issolators. How is it attached in the front? If the body is still issolated and front hard mounted, there may be problems. But I doubt that is the case...

I don't believe a stock radiator would fit in there. What did he use?

Nice tool box behind the cab. I'm working on a "trunk" for the truggy now (thanks Matt! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif)

What's holding the hood? Dzus? Got hinges?

Looks like the same "headlights" I was considering...

That blue box the fuel cell? Home made? Capacity?

Nice work on the inner fenders. Looks clean... 18-20 ga. sheet steel?

All in all, I like it. My only reservation is the low rockers. I've got to spend some effort on looks as soon as the current round of functional mods is done...

Cool I think the funny part is he still has the chrome drim that goes around the back side and the sides of the cab atleast it helps me figure out ABOUT what year cab it is /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Quick and crap, but I'm kind of busy right now (doing nothing /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif)

Here (Won't Let Me Embed It In The Post For Some Reason) (http://www.unitseven.com/images/other/X/fuggy3.jpeg)

That's a cool truck, but its VERY freaky (to me anyhow) how it looks exactly like mine (cab). Mine will end up like that after I shorten the wheelbase down, except I'll have the front clip, heh.... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

thats to damn cool! when i see pics of these things it always makes me re-think the desicion to send the blazer to the jnk yard. i think i may just scrap the body of it and keep the rolling chassies..and near me there is a 78 chevy 3/4 to rollng truck, no engine/trans/t-case... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Thanks for the props /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif If I hadent rolled it in 2002 it would have never looked like this ,, And actually it' undergone a few changes since then:

Redid the rear tube (hit the tires every time I flexed) :

http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/denver75k5/0401290005.jpg

As you can see I tried the 3/4 eliptic setup which works ok , but Im still going to link her up this fall.

And one if the better thing (in my opinion) was the behind the axle hi-steer, I still need to gusset the axle.. :

Is that chrome under that black paint on that D60 diff cover? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif i still think that chrome cover is why you rolled it in the first place. Looks great. Has come a long way since the last time I saw it when i helped you paint the frame at Tims shop. Looks like alot of fun.

I just got my new digi-cam a week ago so I don't have any pic's of it in action, but we tested it out on a nasty trail here in CO. and I can get about 15" of droop out of them, but I think Marv is rite about them being too long. The buggy spring bends more than the main spring.

Also I had to put a limit strap in the middle of the 14b up to the frame. When I first put them on (without shocks) I wanted to check for "unloading" and power braked it and to my suprize it lifted up about 20" like a stinkbug ready to sqirt, It got better with the shocks but still had to limit strap it and now it only goes up about an inch with no wheel hop.

Having done this, although it works I still think im going to link it up and do either coilovers or coils.
