It's my wheeling rig but it pulls double duty as a tow rig helping friends that break down on the trail and pulling my Chevelle.

At that moment Tony's dually was driving me to Salt Lake City Chevrolet to pick up a power steering pump resevoir so I could get my heep on the move again /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
And yes, yes I am, but I'm riding shotgun with tony... But if I have my tow rig by then maybe I'll just drive it!

What drivetrain combo do you have in that? Anything you would do differently? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif Nice truck...that's what my truck will be in a few years, but crewcab.

Duramax/Allison
I have the LS package on mine. I like the cloth seats better than leather. Its always been a personal preference of mine. I have the bose 6 speaker system. It's really nice for a stock system. I have the auto dual zone climate control. Its pretty much a set it and forget it type thing. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I kept going back and forth on the extcab vs crewcab thing. I ended up choosing what I did because I didn't want the pewter color. I got a really great deal on mine plus the 0% financing.
I have added a ranchhand rear bumper b/c someone really felt the need to back into my stock one.
I have also added a performance box and guages to it. This has to be the best modification ever. My truck weighs in at approx 7500 with me in it. It ran the 1/4 in 14.57 seconds at 90ish mph. It had a 1.91 60'. I ran in 4wd and spun all 4 through 300-400 feet. I can spin the tires towing the Jimmy. It is simply amazing.
There are only a couple of options I wish it had.
1. Dual alternators. (Don't know why, but I just want them)
2. The XM radio option. I added a Sirius tuner to mine, but like the factory look.
As soon as the tires wear out, which is quickly approaching with approx 750ft/lbs of torque /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I am adding some 16x8 wheels and some 33" tires.
All in all it is the best truck ever. It pulls like a dream and has every creature comfort possible. I give it /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

NICE! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
That's what I'm going to get...Duramax, Allison, etc...
I love how the Duramax is such a quiet diesel (especially compared to the old cummins and powerstrokes!)
I know this guy with an '03 crew cab duallie 3500HD. He's got the D/A combo, and that thing hauls. He's got computer mods and a 5" stainless exhaust...the thing will light up the duallies no problem. He's got an on-dash little computer thingy that keeps track of 0-60 times, etc. He does 60-90mph in less than 3 seconds. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Quiet diesel!! Is there such a thing? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
True diesel guys love that sound.Especially with 4" sewer pipe for exhaust. There nothing like pulling up next to a rice burner and romping the throttle right next to them. Then leaving them behind in a cloud of black smoke. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Heres what Im talkin about!!!! i also love my stake body. no worries of denting it or scratching it. plus you can take on loads from the side from a fork lift.
th only thing i MIGHT change next time is get a DRW. they handle so nice when towing a load.
