I will be there opening weekend as well as the work weekend. Whatever you come up with is cool here. I will just have to make dang sure I am nice to the wife to be able to get away for 3 weekends of wheeling in April!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Uwharrie is a great USFS ORV area in central N.C.

Hey I want to go. Don't really care which weekend. I've never been but heard a lot of good things. I've been building my truck for over a year and still haven't been wheelin.

hey stu454, did you have any problems wheelin a stock tahoe up there? if i go, im gonna be in a relatively stock 4dr yukon with 285/75 tires (basically 33s), and im just curious as to whether or not it'd be possible to tackle a decent amount of trails out there?

It was a blast. Most of the serious obstacles have bypasses. Had to get strapped about three or four times. It had rained on and off the entire weekend so it was very slick in spots.
With 33's and some good tread you ought to be alright. Just make sure there is a winch and a second vehicle with you and have at it.
