My Sub is broken down right now and I had to pick my Chevelle up from the body shop. So I took my wifes S10 Extreme and got things done.

I would've done it if it wasn't a short flat route home.
Here's the rest of the Chevelle pics. (http://www.socalbigdawgs.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=Chevelle&page=1)

Did you mean to say "I wouldn't have done it....."? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
How did the little truck handle with that load behind it? I imagine your trailer brakes were working over time....

Yes /forums/images/graemlins/pimp.gif
It did better than I expected it to do. I just made sure I gave plenty of following distance and didn't put too much tongue weight. As usual it's everyone one else on the road you have to make up for.

Well I have done worse, not proud of it but I made it and I was extremely carefull.
I towed a longbed 3/4ton truck with my Jeep wagoneer.
The 360 V8 helped in the power department but I had soft springs and 35" tires on the Wag and it was during a storm at night.
I just stayed on the right going 45MPH and looking 1mile ahead and 1 mile behind me.

Hey, whatever it take's to get the job done! I've used alot worse than the S-10 to tow a trailer with! /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

Its funny when the thing you are towing is heaver then the thing you are towing it with !!! Levearge comes to mid ....and so does jackknife ...W have a 3/4 burd and a 98 dodage 1 ton dually w/ a 6000 lbs trailer .....The trailer takes the burb for RIDES !!!!! Espically when we hit a pot hole ..scarry !!!!! I also have a 26' sailboat that I use to have a a bronco 2 to put it in the dock boat ramp.....I would Never drive that combo on the street !!! I think electric brakes are the anwser !!!!
On another note...your towing setup is not worth killing someone over or going to jail for.... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
