Yeah saw that last night, he says it will be 6" shorter but those rear link angles still look waaaay steep! But maybe I'm just jealous that he has all his coils on his shocks and 4 of mine are still on order /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

<font color="blue">I noticed the rear looked a little steep, but its 6" higher right now than it will be and the truck will probably have a fairly high COG when finished. Also, I've noticed those guys like to build a lot of AS into they're rigs.

Just remember, it's going to settle quite a bit with body and drive train. Those c/os are topped out with no weight...

Jason, what springs are you looking for? I might have some if you need to borrow them till they come in.

Some 16" 200-250lb coils for the 2.5 shocks... But mine should be here Tuesday so no big deal... Tenders are coming too.

What do you guys think the steering will be like on that '72 with a tracbar and panhard rod that are different length be?

Being at the same angle makes alot more difference than the same length. I am sure it will have less bump steer than stock push-pull or even corssover with leaf springs...but it will still have bump steer.

BTW, that's a track bar and drag link. AFAIK, pan hard (sp?) is the same as track bar, i.e. lateral axle location. If there is some defining difference, I don't know what it would be...

Oops, had a brain fart. I tend to do that a lot. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif So basically if you want to almost completely minimize bumpsteer you should mount the draglink and trac bar at the same angle and make them the same length, but do they have to be mounted at nearly the same location?

For 0 bumpsteer yes they would have to have the ends in the exact same plane. But, this goes out the window when you turn the steering wheel since the draglink will no longer be in the same plane as the tracbar. Or just go full hydro /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
