CK5 - The Full-Size GM Off Road Community

I am looking at buying a couple of project vehicles(k-20 with no motor and k-5), but I am unsure if i can gety them back home. I have a 5 ton equipment trailer with brakes, but the width is only 6' 6.5" between the wheel wells. But the bigger problem is the tow vehicle. I have a k-5 set up with a trailer brake controller on it, but it is only a 305 with manual trans and its short wheel base. I could borrow a friends 99 Z71 extended cab with the 5.3 but no brake controller on it. I need to tow these about 200 miles(no mountains). Does anyone know a reasonable priced option for me to get these home?

You're only option is either renting or borrowing a truck, possibly with the driver if it's from here.
I am sure someone in your area will jump in and offer.
Maybe you could say pay gas and dinner someone will jump in.
