TBI engines will run for 10 - 20 seconds with about 8 ounces of gas poured down the throttle blades, that is assuming EVERYTHING else is OK!

Or you could rig something up like I did?

Maybe there is a vehicle in the junkyard that has a frame mounted EFI pump? Just and fuel gas can, (battery +) / (battery -), some EFI fuel hose (supply) / (return) and hose clamps.

But if I were to look at the truck, I'd pour some gas down the throttle body and see it the truck will even start. I'd would not like to spent time / money on a stand alone fuel system unless I could get the truck running for a few seconds with some gas poured down into the throttle body first.

Maybe try doing something down by the fuel filter. Maybe there is both supply and return lines connectors near the fuel filter. Maker sure to disable the in-tank fuel pump.
