No offense taken, I am the owner of what's left of this 72 Blazer. Believe this or not, what you see it about the 3rd jump of the day. I was OFF the gas pedal for this shot. If I had been in the skinny pedal, there would have been much more air and much more distance.

The suspension setup is as follows, DRUM ROLL PLEASE .......... For all you Dana 60/14bolt guys....................

Front leaf springs, from a Jeep CJ5, and Rancho 9 way adjust shocks,
Rear leaf springs, Springer suspension w/ 9 way adjust shock, and for the final tally, DANA 44 FRONT AXLE W/ CROMO AXLES W/ NO TRUSS, REAR GOOD OLD 12BOLT W/ SUPERIOR 12 BOLT CROMO AXLES W/ NO TRUSS.

Who said 1/2 ton axles don't fly!!!!!!

All you kids watching this show, don't try this at home.........

It's all about the weight of the truck.
My waggy had the stock D44 front and rear, no special shafts, no truss, no fuss.
Just 9000 adjustables front and rear, stock flat springs with shackle flip in the back and spring over in the ront and 35" Xterrains.
I am now using a D44 12bolt combo from a GM because I switched to a centered rear output but the D44s are now under a jeep still running strong.
I canno't expect that with the weight of my full bodied blazer and the heavy(1300lbs ) diesel engine.
