That's nice. I've been watching for one of those, just doesn't seem to be many of them in Tx.

No...there aren't to many outside of colorado. And even harder to find in good shape..ie: canvas. I have decided to pull my camper off the chalet and mount it on the 79 which is helluh built and have one nice multipurpose rig. Of course the chalets interior will be updated and modernized from the shell up on the inside. Can't see havin 2 or 3 K5's anymore.

There is a blazer model fwc around here that needs an ass load of tlc...and it could be had for a tailgate and top for a 73-75 model...

does that unit bolt to the blazer like the glass top? i've been thinking on how to adapt a small unit to a K5 but never saw one before yours. i found this company and added it to my "things i'll never get to do list" http://www.coyoterv.biz/8----CUSTOM-CAMPERS.html

cool rig you got there

SICK topper bro! (great looking K5 too!!!) I'd love to get it from you if I had money and you were closer! That's exactly the kind of camper top that I have wanted since when I first started looking for a K5!!!

Got any interior pics?

No interior shots. I have not put the interior back together as it has to be some what torn down to remove/install the camper. Basically behind the drivers seat is an icebox followed by a two plate burner and then the sink. Left side rear outside door is where the propane bottle goes. Under the sink is the water tank along with some shelves and a drawer for storage. Right side is a storage box full bed length that has cushions for a couch or bed.
Main bed is above the cab. Look up wander the west dot com and or expedition portal dot com for interior shots.
