aftermarket truck heaters

Does anyone know of a company that makes aftermarket heaters for the interior of a vehicle. I was planning on ditching the AC/Heat box on the firewall and covering up the hole with thin metal to free up some room. I've owned the truck for almost 5 years and I can count how many times the AC has been used on one hand.

Re: aftermarket truck heaters

I just did this, but I used the stock heater controls and box from a cucv. It's a LOT flatter on the firewall and makes my new tube frontend a lot easier to fit.

Re: aftermarket truck heaters

Thanks. That Mojave deal was what I was looking for. I had seen it before in a magazine being installed in a J**p, I just couldn't remember or find which magazine it was.
