Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

I bought my new one from the dealership for $32. I doubt you find it any cheaper than that or what LMC has it for.

Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

Not sure of the price, but give Cheyenne Pickup Parts a try - 405-872-3399, might be less $$$$$$$$$$$$.

Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

Just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. $26.75 from GM. Part #12542292. Only took a few minutes to replace.

Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

Im not exactly sure where you can get a new cable but i have a question about the back window. Basically it takes an act of god to get my back window up, and its even slow going down. Do i need to oil something, or have the motor replaced? Thanks

Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

88Mudbeast, when I replaced my cable, I greased everything in there. It works much better now. Not like new but much better.

Re: Broken Window Regulator Cable

Mine is a manual and I pulled off the top tailgate cover and sprayed the tracks and the gears real good with white lithium grease. Works perfect now.
