jazz/swing music

Anyone here a fan of it? I personally like listening to it just before bed. I find it to be soothing yet not to the point of boring. So what do you have to say about it?

Re: jazz/swing music

I find it relaxing when I'm in a mellow mood. The country boys around here look at you funny when playing it going through the mud though.

Re: jazz/swing music

My best friend is an amazing violin player and he had a few upright basses. I used to play it when I went over to his house, he'd play the piano to some songs and I'd jam on the bass. Man, those things are crazy fun to play.

I like jazz, too. My wife likes to listen to it when.......um, well......
