4x4 grunt?????

My little brother said he saw something in a magazine called a 4x4 grunt. He said it was a type of body(fiberglass?) that will fit directly on a 73-91 chassis. I couldn't figure out what he was talking about and he can't find the mag. Thanks for any feedback.

Re: 4x4 grunt?????

yeah, I saw that article. It was in the oct./nov. 2003 edition of off-road adventures. it was actually about a kit called the "runt", for an s10 chassis. even had a full convertible model, with removable doors, and full cage. they actually looked pretty kool, and the deluxe kit, which includes the cage, is under $6k. but it said they have a "grunt" model in the works for fullsizes. thier website is www.4x4grunt.com. I haven't checked out the site yet myself...but they look pretty interesting, from what I can tell.

Re: 4x4 grunt?????

Check out us body they have a full fiberglass tub for and for sale in there. I saw one article on them that said with stock suspension and a fiberglass tub they gained about 3" or so of lift. They have all kinds of parts for our trucks.
